St Anne Chaplet in Sterling Silver

ST ANNE CHAPLET ~ in Sterling Silver
This chaplet has a strong theme: St Anne ~ the flowering, fruitful vine of Jesse. The Paters represent the flowers of the vine ~ the Aves, the vine itself. Read the descriptions of the medal and rosary centre, to see how each piece ties in beautifully with this theme.

Sterling silver:
Rosary Centre This stunning sterling silver rosary centre is listed officially as Our Lady and the Child Jesus, but I believe it is St Anne and the Child Mary.I base that belief on words and vinework carved in St Anne's tomb in Apt, France.I believe that the flowering vine work ties in with this ancient symbol connected to St Anne ~ connected to the 'Root of Jesse' title and so the rosary centre and medal go perfectly together depicting St Anne, the Child Mary in the rosary centre and the Child Jesus in the medal.
Medal A stunning sterling silver St Anne medal. This is one of my very favourite medals as it depicts the Child Jesus stretched out upon the tree ~ the root of Jesse. While the title "Root of Jesse" is one attributed to Our Lady, it was also attributed to St Anne as well.It has the Latin words, "Pro Eis" on the front. On the reverse side is a 'S' and 'A' intertwined together, with the Latin inscription that reads: "Sancta Anna, ora pro nobis".
Pater bead Carved Rose, Indian Bloodstone Gemstones
Ave beads Green Opal in free form. These particular gemstones feel wonderful in the hand, while moving from bead to bead.
Construction Sterling silver 20 guage wire and jump rings. The chain is also made from sterling silver jump rings in 20g.
